The inherent problem, at least here on 2+2, is that the complaints of dealers are significantly amplified, which leads to "Tipping Thread No. ![]() The fact is dealing is a solid-paying job and with the boom in the US came people into the job who are greedy and want more, but that's true with almost any line of work. 5% tip I would expect from someone goofing around and winning a low buy-in daily tourney or something of that nature, not from a 10k event. Honestly, any dealer that whines about players not leaving 5% needs to shut the hell up. ![]() It's to be viewed as a token of appreciation to the overall staff for a job well done and a feel-good gesture that'll come back to the players getting even better service and future acknowledgement and dedication from the staff. When he's losing (which is more often than not), he's an abusive tilt-prone prick who prefers to blame dealers for his **** play.Īnyway, Matt says 2-3%, I say 1-2%, and this generally applies for all 1k+ tournies for pretty much anyone who gets ITM, not just the 1st place finisher.
